Scope and Contents

Comprised of correspondence, receipts, and a ledger, the Reynolda Gardens series documents the purchase of plant stock and the business operations of both the formal gardens and greenhouse. A portion of the material relates to the Katharine Reynolds era until her death in 1924; the remainder of the series, 1935-1947, represents the governance of Mary Reynolds Babcock and her husband Charles.
