Scope and Contents

Removed from the Reynolds Family Papers, these photographs document the construction and early years of Reynolda, 1912-1924, and the Reynolds Family. Images include those of the farm, dairy, Lake Katharine, Reynolda House and its interiors, Reynolda Village, the outdoor pool, and the indoor pool. Significant events photographed include the Hiawatha pageant held at Lake Katharine in 1921, the Reynolds family camping on the grounds while the estate was being constructed, and aerial photographs of the estate and surrounding area taken by the Aero Service in 1927.
